The AXIØMA EMTBOC and CX80 World Cup starts on Thursday

The international mountain bike orienteering season begins on Thursday with the start of the AXIØMA European Mountain Bike Orienteering Championships and the CX 80 World Cup in Lithuania.

The championships will welcome both seniors and juniors (W20, M20) as well as the youth categories (W17, M17).

Sprint, long distance and a mixed relay await the seniors from Friday to Sunday, while junior and junior athletes get off to a good start with a middle distance on Thursday and end the championships with a relay.

As well as being European Championships, the races in Lithuania kick off this year’s CX 80 World Cup with rounds 2 and 3 in Sweden (WMTBOC) and Bulgaria respectively later in the season. season.

CX80 produces a number of multi-purpose products and specialist greases and is an official partner of the International Orienteering Federation.

The title partner of the World Cup will be on site during the championships and will distribute cash prizes to the leaders of the overall World Cup standings.
